2v turbo is a joke my friend, turbo 4v not so much...houston you wanna buy my teksid aluminum 4.6 block from a cobra :) and darkstar is right i win, p.s why the fuck would a totally free flowing exhaust hurt hp??? Thats why all out drag cars run mufflers right???

No back pressure much??? to compensate you need ported heads and all that good stuff for it to be efficient, u might gain hp but lose tq

backpressure is overrated when you're making real power....I think part of my problem with the GTO and trying to go to a 250 shot was the fact that we couldn't get the exhaust out fast enough

lol, it doesn't man, my brother has an 89 GT convertible with H pipes, it sounds good but never scary. an 03 boosted stang did though, only the fact of hitting a tree at 140mph. but that thing ran great. i bet someone around here still has that car.

not quite im saying in a car that has any performance to it, no mufflers means more power cause of more free flowing exhaust...and no you cant be fast like me cause you have a 2v lol

and preferred my mustang is a 94 one of two years the 5.0 came in the sn95 body style

it may, depends on the power it puts down. i was only concerned going fast in corners with that much power in an open top car!!! it's probably still around the atlanta area unless someone wrecked it. someon put some money into it that's for sure. the guy who owned it his dad owned streetwires back in the day so he went from a regular GT to that. he kept it for a month and sold it, i think it scared him a couple of times. I learned something new, i had no idea they had a 5.0 in a 94.

I had a 95 GT convertible. 5 speed, header back exhaust, 3.73s... way slow. Not so bad once I did a FULL tune up, but pretty sure one of the HGs was blown, lol.

gt40 heads were for the 5.0 motors.....when did the mod go to the pi heads.....99? if he has a pi 4.6 he is one step closer to running with a stock mach 1....just need 4.10s, longtubes, head work, cams and a tune!

i wasn't sure about the heads. i know it was mentioned abt the 2v heads and i knew of them for a 5.0 and i have read there were 2 types of heads but i did not read the difference in them or what they could go on.

pmd and appreciate the compliment i have only been doin work on the motor, this summer its gettin dart block billet crank t72 or t88 and a meth injection :) then maybe just maybe will i do some body work lol
