I know nothing about mustanges but what i read on here . So from what im reading choustons mach 1 was like god compared to the mustange he has now and it was still slow lol. I mean did you realy go by a slower mustange is that possible do people realy do that ? so your mach 1 was a 13.5 car and your new mustange with 100 shot might run with the old one ? i give up you cant be helped matter fact im trading the hatch in on a kia next week just so i can be like chouston lmao. Dont say talk shit realy why didnt you buy a cobra ? Dont they run 12s stock or with just pulley upgrades and im sure you can find a good deal on one . if i messed up and bought a slow mustange the first time i wouldnt have bought a slower one the second time makes no cense just saying. Is it the breeze in your hair why you did it ? If you mach would have run mid 13s you should have bought it back brought it to me i would have got it strait for you then you would have had a good start just from what im reading you got a long hard road that could have been alot easier. Im all about the easy way.

lol nice h22 and yea in comparison to a pi 2v the mach 1 is like a god, the mach 1 puts out nearly 80 more whp stock than the 2v...theres not much to kno about mustangs to be honest, you want the cheap way to a fast car you get a pushrod 302, like my motor, if you wanna go expensive and long way get a modular, avoid all 2vs, 3vs in the 05-10 are ok, 4v out of th 03-04 cobras/mach 1 are good platforms but excessively expensive to mod, talkin 1500 for cams plus labor to put em in cause timing them is a bitch, the holy grail of mustangs is the new 5.0, but if you wanna go big you go with the 5.4 out of a lightning, there is a breakdown of mustangs for ya![]()

correct me if i am wrong here but my brother mentioned a while back about the new 5.0 being DOHC. is that true or am i retarded? oh i just answered that it's the latter. the snail on the front of your car made me laugh, i think the mustang i mentioned had 16-18 psi but i am not sure.

going from a 2v to a 4v is literally like taking a dx civic and putting a b18c5 in it............his mach one may have ran 13.5's but we will never know because he never ran it. most ppl with 5 spd machs these days can run mid to low 13's on street tires and low 13's to high 12's on a sticky tire depending on the driver........he probably didnt get a cobra because a gt is $10000 cheaper than a nice cobra
Yea the 2011 5.0 is a dohc mod motor. The 03/04 cobra and mach 1 are both dohc mod motors the rest are sohc. The 2v gt motor can be ok but you gotta take those junk heads off older ones and put the newer pi heads on along with cams, some porting and a host of bolt ons to make the same power as a stock mach1 with exhaust. byt the time you spend that money you could have just bought a mach 1.
So its a 3600+lb car with 230whp?
The reason I said that was so you would understand Im not gonna go tell all these people on this site what is done to your car. I genuinely want to know what is done to it. I talk bad about 2v motors but they can be made very strong. I just dont see yours being as strong as you claim unless it has more than intake and exhaust...alot more! So feel free to send me a pm I really am interested in what you got.

The reason for my choice of car is that, I dont wanna be like darkstar every saturday night on the sidelines because people will not run him for money because he is the fastest out there so if you get a car in the middle that ppl dont know about and ppl know they are slow from the factory(hence the hustle for money)

in order to get a convert sn195 to that weight, you would need to remove the rear seats, no leather, lightweight k member, coil overs, light weight rims, relocate battery for weight transfer, uhhhhmmmm and an aluminum block lol

it is a pretty car . If a cobra cost 10,000 more dollars can you make this car run what a cobra does and have the potential a cobra does for 10,000 dollars thats how i look at things . Also financing 10,000 dollars on a car loan for 5 years im sure is around 200 dollars a month which is alot easier to do then come up with 10,000 to mod a car plus its still dependable. Drive your car everyday and build you a sleeper race car thats what i would do.
