    Uh...... I quote:

"One of the most interesting facts behind the creation of the new Liberty Blitzen is the design philosy. Subaru went to industrial design specialists Porsche Design for help in designing much of the bodywork for the Blitzen."

I read that as spoilers, which is obviously the "Porsche-like" brake ducting "job".
Evidently a ricer will concentrate on this as being one of the things that "makes" a car, right?

Maybe I stand corrected. But to me.......a big rear wing does NOT turn a Lancer into a EVO or a WRX into a STi.
It now appears Subaru can't even design their own spoilers. WOW

Trow dat in yo' crack pipe and blow dat smoke tru yo' grillz.

    .
Nobody was saying that the bodywork turned the car into a Porsche, we were just showing that Porsche and Subaru have worked together before.

Subaru cant develop their own spoilers? I guess you dont pay attention to rally and how Subaru put a bunch of vertical vanes along the rear spoiler for more aerodynamic control while sliding sideways; by the next race every other car in the field had adopted a similar spoiler.

Do you actually own a Porsche or are you just some pretentious know-it all that will never be able to afford one? You sure seem to be ridin its nuts pretty hard.

I have several Porsches, yes, and I've owned 9 in the last 6 years. No, I'm not wealthy (a new STi costs more than either of the older Porsches I have now) but I am an enthusiast of specialty cars, which at my price level happen to be mainly German. I'm talking about cars that set the standards, and which are fun to drive and give you more satisfaction than basic transportation can offer.
I'm not a know-it-all, but I do know quite a bit. These cars are my life.
I'm sure people who know me, as well as the SM crew can confirm this.

    WTF?

    Great comparo:
    STi with 301whp
    vs
944 Turbo with roughly 230whp and a blown head gasket, not to mention 226k miles and on the original turbo! All stock except for 12 psi instead of 10.
If I had just 1 psi more, I would have won.

The temp gauge was maxed out on the 944, and the red light was on, so maybe it made 210whp in that race. It was still a VERY close race.

But no prob, I'm done with excuses.......Just another week or so (I hope) and my other 944 T will be ready. Ready for any STi from a 60 roll to 160 or more.
(I hope an STi is safe at 160 )

All it has is a slightly larger turbo (about the size of a small/medium 20g), and larger intake and exhaust. That's it.
    2.5 vs 2.5
Not to be cocky, but if I lose to a STi from 60-160, it will only be because it has a larger turbo and at least 10psi MORE than I'll be running, which I'm told is impossible on a stock internal STi. My 944T has stock internals.
Please show me a STi that has trapped more than 120mph in the 1/4 on completely stock internals, and then I might have some competition from 60 up to 125 or so).
So Ming has the fastest STi locally?

Genya on here, (jason) with i beleive 390awhp and 440's awtq ran a 11.8 @ 121 i beleive. stock internals.

Topspeed's silver STi made 590 awhp it ran low 11's letting off @ 3/4's of the track, i beleive that car trapped high 120's and it was also stock block.

    with 301awhp we trapped 111.

ming does not have the fastest STi locally, its probably the slowest out of the NON stock turbo STi's around. STi owners who are fast (most of them make over 500awhp) rarely come out, im working on one coming out to run boris/rudy/and possible even evolunchbox/phill

HAHA ricer? I would say you're the ricer with you high-and-mighty "Porsche would never waste their time with Subaru" attitude. I prove you wrong you can't back up your statement. All you do is criticize the company for getting Porsche to help in the design.

BTW, You dont know anything about me, dude. I've grew up around Porsches and probably have spent more time modifying, tuning, race-prepping, and driving other peoples' Porsches than you have driving your own. LOL, @ the ricer comment.

You're a disgrace to the Porsche enthusiast community. Get off your high horse your high horse, or you need to switch to a BMW because you sound like a douche bag M3 owner.

Are you fucking kidding me? Read it again, and again if you have to. Try to comprehend it.

Great comeback with the "I know your are" ricer comments

Driving other people's Porsches? Not to offend, but you sound more like a fucking 17y/o porter at a little known service shop as opposed to your claimed "Porsche enthusiast" status.

Which Porsches have you modified and/or tuned?
No, adding a PepBoys intake or bigger exhaust tip on a 924 will not qualify

I usually do most of the work on my cars (yeah, Porsches, not Thoobaroos) which includes maintainance, service, upgrades, etc.

Tell me, Mr. (wannabe) Porsche enthusiast: If I made up 20 questions regarding general and not-so-general Porsche know-how, and personally handed them to you on a piece of paper, how long would it take you to complete the answers? Would you get at least 16 out of 20? (without a computer handy, cause any moron can Google the shit)

Your drama queen behavior has you thinking I'm on a high horse (you even repeated it).
    Get over yourself.
And yeah, you don't know me either.
I don't think I'm better cause I drive Porsches instead of Subarus. It's just personal choice.
The Porsches I have are older and worth less than a new STi. Sure, 5 years from now it will be a different story. But you should have already known that, Mr. Porsche enthusiast..........you grew up around them, worked on them, modified them, etc, etc, so you must have enough knowledge about them to consider them practical cars (as I do) but you prefer a Subaru. Why don't you tell us about your real job as an aspiring comedian?
