Everyone would be on equal ground. It would be cool to see what everyone runs on the same surface and street tires. If there is a decent possibility that you are going to break on street tires then you dont really have a street car. I wanna see folks cruise down...run all day and have a good time. A little quick 8/16 race is just something for those who HAVE to compete to have fun. The fast guys are still going to be fast...just not as fast. This would be real street daily driver tires...not drag radials DOTs...et streets etc. I dont expect to attract all the fast cars. Just the regular guy who may be intimidated by a track day where everyone is on slicks/trailers. There are plenty of races for the fast cars but no days JUST for street tires and races. Prolly do lanes 1/2 for people wanting to race anybody....lanes 5/6 for guys to line up against their preselected opponent.

    Sometimes my lane is prepped.....

I think that you will have people trailering down to the track still.

You will need to clearly state what tires are and are not allowed. If someone whos up on slicks and is trailered, and wants to T&T, are you going to stop them from getting on the track? What if all they have are DRs? If you ban DRs, are you going to allow R-compound tires in the Quick 8/16?
