Frankly, this coudnt be farther from the truth. Fact is if the Bible isnt true there is NO downside for the believer. They will die a normal death and never know the difference.
If the Bible is true however the non believer who never sincerely repents is screwed. Therin lies the REAL setup for dissapointment.
So you're telling me that the bible has had no effect on how you've lived your life to date and if it turned up false you wouldn't want to go back and change things? My problem with the Bible is that it DOESN'T give you a choice. "He who isn't with me is against me...and going to spend eternity in hell or some jazz." Repent sinners for you do not know the whole truth and will spend an eternity in hell because your Christian brothers were a little slow with the translation. That IMHO is a crock o shit. What about those that came before Christ and his word? what about those that don't want any part of it. If the Bible is law, then it should only apply to it's believers.
