His story almost mirrors exactly those found in more ancient religions like Mesopotamia, in Greek mythology and in the worship of Mithras. so why should I believe the one portrayed in the new testament as the "true" story? I could cure Cancer, AIDS, develop technology that ends world hunger and colonize mars, but I would STILL be judged into eternal damnation by your narcissistic, murderous and jealous god. So you see, it does not really matter if he existed or not.
