I am a "born again" Christian.

In order to be considered a Christian and go to heaven you must be "born again" which means you figuratively die to your old sinful life and born again into your new Christian life and walk with the Lord. In being obedient to the Lord, Christians demonstrate this by being baptized, which literally means being fully submerged in water. When you are submerged that symbolizes the death and burial of your old life and the death and burial of Jesus Christ, and when you are brought out of the water it symbolizes your birth into your new life, and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

I never said you "have to" be baptized, it is simply following God's will to be baptized once you are saved. If you are a Christian you are "born again" because that happens the second you admit you are a sinner and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

A lot of Christians don't go to church, and live a life full of sin...I lived that way for a period, except I still went to church I guess to keep up my image to all of my friends at church. It does not mean you are not a Christian, but it is pretty much the main reason people have such a horrible view of Christianity.
