Whites are not the only race to have enslaved another. As a matter of fact, almost every (if not every one) race has enslaved others at some point in history.

Blacks have been ensalving whites for hundreds of years in Africa, before AND after America's slavery.

My point being, that the past HAS NO BEARING anymore. Whites are not the only to have used slavery, therefore that excuse cannot be used.

The word is a form of disrespect, plain and simple. I choose not to use it and lose respect for those who do, regardless of thier race.
