wow.. my mom didn't want his money to spend on herself.. she was trying to raise her kids.. give them the best of what she could.. and she did just that without his money..

umm your mom obviously was speaking for you considering you were a minor, so as i said women/children can't complain if the MOTHER does nothing.

Revenge is something I'm good at talking about, but I'm really a big softy, I wouldn't hurt a fly... I guess I kinda get that from my mom.

As far as child support goes... I don't need his money, no, but my child does. Brandon, like you said, I should take the money and stash it away, but in all honesty, I just don't see any of this helping. I think by making him suffer he would make every attempt to make me suffer in return. He's a deadbeat. He always will be. He will never amount to anything or anyone. I would be better off just dropping it now and moving on with my life.

There are new laws passed yearly on child support laws.. I am sure most of us that went through the whole child support dilema with our parents are well grown now by well over a few years.. It is much easier and there is a lot more support these days with mothers that have to deal with dead beat dads.

its not a debate just the truth... i'm one of six kids my dad raised my older brother/sister b/c their father was a dead beat... and in the 70's it was rather difficult to get a disabled vet to pay child support. he later died and my older siblings recieved gov't aid; so i'm quite aware of this type of situation. but as i said you can't complain if you do nothing.

but you also have to remember that you can only spend so much time and money trying to get them to pay.. money wears out and emotions run thin.. at a point you just give up.. my dad passed in 2002.. we never saw a dime from him from 1997-2002.. he was dying with cancer and we figured there was no use.. why make him die alone in jail.. that is just cruel..

so we both have our sides and our sob stories.. and we are who we are today because of it!

How can HE make YOUR life difficult if YOU don't let him? YOU will have the child, so how is HE going to make it difficult for you? Don't let him. If you do as Nemesis says and just drop him and move on....you will soon find that life is much calmer on the other side of the fence. Do move on and leave the headaches to those that have lots of aspirin. Ya know?

I've known clay for about 15yrs. now, we had always been best friends and he was like a brother to me. I've seen so much change in him in the past 3 or 4 years its pitiful he definately isn't the person that I used to know. Tiff hun you know you are like a sister to me and you were the one person when I got hurt that took time off from work to take care of me and help me and for that I'm always grateful, I'm always here day or night and just a mile or so away. And you have my number atleast you better lol considering they are on the same account. Its sad that Clay is acting and being like this.
