Unfortunately heroes die pretty regularly. I understand Chris Kyle was a great sniper and died as a result of being a charitable person but I'm honestly not sure what should be the criteria for when the president should acknowledge the death of an individual. Thousands have died in Iraq and Afghanistan. They may not have been as good of a shot or written any books but does that make them less deserving of recognition for their sacrifice.
