You have to listen to all the underground freestylers up there, Em is not even on the same level, and most of the people that dont understand Jay-Z is because you have to think about his lyrics, you dont just listen to it, i did not like him at first, but when i started getting his style, that's when i became a real fan.

If i had to say who is the best one alive, i would say Jay-Z, he has been around long enough, and he has the money and record sales to prove it, Em has not even been out long enough to be even called the best rapper, but then again most people that are posting on here DONT really know rap, you know more rock/alternative than you do rap, so..........to you Em is the best, go you!, just dont say that around some black people that listen to nothing but rap
So, let me get this straight..... people from NY know more about rap than people from Atlanta because people from NY like rappers from NY more than rappers from Atlanta? i guess that makes sense, aside from not making sense.

Jayz has been around long enough to be considered the best ever, but Eminem hasnt? Can we put Eminem in the argument next year then? because Jayz put out his first album 1 year before Eminem put out his first album.

Maybe in the next life i will be born black so i can fully understand rap music, personally... i cant see how the color of my skin changes my understanding of the english language or music, but i'll take your word for it and give you the benefit of the doubt that you have no racial bias, even though nearly everything that you post would lead me to that conclusion.
