Jadakiss and Jay-Z are about the only two that i can say that whenever i hear ANY of their songs, you are bound to hear nice rhymes/lyrics/metaphors, and for you Em lovers, yes his is capable of spitting hot lyrics, it's just that he does not doing ALL the time

Lol he does it a lot more then jay z and jadakiss...two ppl i rarely see any music from. Jay z has a few decent songs while em has a few good albums....

Who's sold more records? Em. And jay z career has been a lot longer then ems. Damn that must blow being he's white and all lol

I hate Jayz, never understood why he was so beloved.

I agree.... Jayz is not worthy of comparison to Eminem. I know Jayz is regarded as one of rap's royalty, but i have never understood the praise.

Being white in an industry dominated by blacks, he never would have been seen if he didnt battle.

Someone post up the Eminem ABC freestyle. That was classic.

dear sweet jesus lil wayne should NOT be on that list. He's hardly a rapper anymore....he just publishes anything he writes, and its allllllll been shit lately.

I agree with that list, feel Busta and twista should be a bit higher up the list, and DMX a bit farther down.

you mean battle in the industry or when he was in the '8 mile' lifestyle?

i dont think so...i've related more to DMX than twista and busta...personal preference tho

ahhhh fair enough. I just like Busta's flow, and twista is sharp as well. Cant relate to DMX ha and his style is uniquely aggravating

Relating to a rapper isnt always a good thing. I think rappers get too much credit for being "real" and not enough credit for being entertainers. Busta is a great example..... he doesnt have a 10th the street cred as other rappers, but he's 10x the performer as a lot of them. Most of his songs are talking about absolutely nothing..... but they were entertaining as shit. Busta was also a king of the now extinct music video era.

I dont judge rappers solely on entertainment, but i feel like not only is entertainment under appreciated in rap, its almost looked down on.

I was listening to Twista back in the early 90's when he was still calling himself Tung Twista. I had several "Chi-Bangin" mixtapes with a lot of Twista, Psycho Drama, Snipaz, D.A. Smart.

    One of my favorite songs.

i cant lie...this post made me lost alot of respect for you. as much as i like Jeezy, he dont deserve to be on that list, and method rightly beat out bun and snoop

i've never been super impressed by what i've heard from him. guess i didnt want to listen to him more because of that. Jezzy deserves to be on the list much more than too short. that dude is a clown with no flow who got his fame by somehow getting the opportunity to "rap" along side of big names.

I like some E-40, but he does not deserve to be on that list either.
