Yeah building the engine is different, but swapping the headlights, or changing the break pads, or oil, or air filter, if you claim to be a car person.... come on , those are things you should do.
Only thing I don't do is change my oil. Not because I can't but out of being lazy and honestly don't feel like messing with it.
