to my knowledge you can't properly insurance a car unless you are the owner. i know before we went to get my sc, my mom tried to insure the car, but my insurance said i must have the bill of sale in hand and that i would be fine without the insurance riding home. mind you, i had an over 2 hour drive home.

so that's weird he is telling you that you must insure a vehicle that you don't even own.

That's crap. All you need to insure a car is the VIN #. If your insurance company requested otherwise, they suck. By their standards, who gives a fuck if you own or rent, or bought the car? You're paying them money for a service. They could care less if you're using it.

i later stated on bottom i meant as a regular person's insurance.
