I think mike is missing the point of both threads.

I don't really give a shit. Anything I post about = mike bitching me out about something.

237whp, highest whp NA B series still to this day in GA to my knowledge, i dont think anyone has beat it. Thats 5 years running. (well techincally i was tied for 1st with a guy from Athens named STREET STUFF on here)

It was fast, ask anyone that drove it or rode in it. It was an 11 second car had i ever had the time to take it to the track. You may not respect or like Hondas but it was quite an achievement at the time. It was one of the first 230+ NA 2.0ls in the country. I was 1 of 3 people with the Skunk2 PRO3s at the time in the country (they werent even being sold yet). I had the first Hytech Production header (they sent it to me for testing).

Just because you dont respect it dont knock it. Lets see you get 120WHP per liter out of your car. Actually i had my motor engine dynoed and i made 276bhp so thats close to 140hp per liter. Thats more than F1 engines. Thats way over 100% VE.

Go do that and come talk to me.

I also had a 700whp 2JZ 240sx , that sadly never saw the street, but it did run 11.0s before the motor went. That cost a pretty penny to build.

I bought my 450whp Silvia (that i turned into a stock silvia cause i didnt want the headaches).

those are the 3 cars im most known for.

Well actually my 190whp CRX from back in the day is prob the most known cause i street raced all the time. I was the first person IMO to have the ANR header and to run Rocket Motorsports Cams. I Was running stuff people around here never had or even thought of buying. 190whp doesnt sound like much, but that car almost never lost to anything.

so yeah, shut the fuck up

like i said, still hanging onto that crx. don't put words in my mouth, i have more respect for 4cylinders than probably any domestic guy on this board, i have owned hondas, i'm in love with the notion you can get a shit ton of power out of a 1.6l single cam, let alone a paperweight b series....so don't go there chump.

it's not the cars i don't have respect for, it's you. and please, for the love of god please explain to me how you pop a 700hp 2jz, doesn't the clark guy have like 30k miles on his build and can turn it up to the 1200 area without the nitrous? i mean don't these motors kick out 6-700 on stock block/head to begin with?

and please, don't brag about beating anything in a 190hp crx....i once had a low 13 second car myself....i mean for fucks sake goautoworks came to sdr a few weeks back and ran low 12's on a bone stock 100k mile d15b....

In Mikes defense, he didnt pop the motor. Turbodave was driving it at the time. Also Clark motor is fully built..

I didnt bring it up, you did dumbass. I just listed the cars ive owned and said i flipped most of them to put money back into my project cars. You asked what they were i responded. So you dont like ME, that doesnt mean shit when it comes to the cars ive built.

again, what have you done that was so great? Go make 180hp/liter then come talk to me otherwise

Ok who the fuck cares. OMG NO SOME IA KID DOESNT RESPECT ME WHATEVER SHALL I DO. Man you must hate me have we ever met before?

HAHA at your ignorance. 2JZs arent indestructible. You think Clark is on the SAME motor ? LOL Clarks gone through a few motors, and he should at that power level shit breaks.

I made 705 with stock block and head. I had an older aristo 2J motor that ended up having crank walk (some years of the aristo had bad thrust washers) and it spun a main bearing at the track. At that point i was done with cars. I had $11,000-14000 in that car and it was blown up at its first track event. I was over it.

and please, don't brag about beating anything in a 190hp crx....i once had a low 13 second car myself....i mean for fucks sake goautoworks came to sdr a few weeks back and ran low 12's on a bone stock 100k mile d15b....
HAHA it must have been a 1200lb car. No fucking way a BONE STOCK 1.5L 135whp SoHC ran low 12s. Sorry. Not possible unless it was in a go kart.

I was street racing prob before you had anything to even talk about. 6-7 years ago 190whp 10,000 RPM on a STOCK Rods was something to brag about, now not so much.

understandable, but who was driving the car doesn't really mean anything to me, if my car pops while someone else is driving it, its still my car that popped

but like i said, don't these motors make 6-700's on stock head/block anyway?

Yes they do. But every motor aint gonna last forever. Eventually they pop, nothing you can do too prevent it. That motor was 100% stock i belive.

Oh and i CHOSE to build NA cars. That was my passion. Others chose to build big HP Turbo Cars.

    Others chose to build V8s.

    Others like body kits.

Dont knock my shit because it was NA and "not impressive". Trust me if you were around back in the day my little CRX held its own. I beat more than my fair share of V8s, TT Audis (SHoutout to Hugo Danny lol), SRT4s, EVOs and other hondas.

Thats funny, I know Ryans D series would put a whippin on that car also. But i actually respect those guys at Auto works. But dont let that fool you, i can guarnteee you any B series would put those D series back on the trailor.

    LOL its turbo

I could go slap a turbo on a stock D Series in a gutted EF an run 12s all day too. All you need is 200-220whp an 1800lbs. Its not hard.

Sorry but i didnt build my cars to impress you, so i could care less if you like them or not.

And again, the cheap taiwan headers dont phase me. While you are at work tomorrow ill be chilling at my house. Actually ill be meeting up with danny , we may go have a few beers. Call us when you get off work chump

ehh...it's not that hard, there are members on this board that made 40'ish less hp than him on a stock head and crap exhaust...a little more money thrown at it and theyre in that area with ease

    HAHA you really are ignorant.

I know more about hondas than you ever will, its obvious you have no idea what it takes to build a 240whp NA Honda. Neither do your friends.

Mainstream put out most of the high whp NA cars in GA when i worked there, Including mine.

Get in line son, all i hear is "its not that hard" but here we are 5 years later and me and street stuff are the only ones who have done it. Where is everyone else at?

People that make 200whp dont have stock head, they have at least an ITR style cam , header, tuned. I know what it takes to make that power ,you obviously dont. And no, its not a simple "add this cam and exhaust BOOM 40whp gain"

If it was everyone would be doing it

Easier said then done... 10 hp in a all motor car cost $$$$$$$$$.... Alot more then u think... I have been pricing it out. Shit i was gonna build a motor too bet Mikes recored, but i rather spend the money on my boat.

Sorry but i didnt build my cars to impress you, so i could care less if you like them or not.

And again, the cheap taiwan headers dont phase me. While you are at work tomorrow ill be chilling at my house. Actually ill be meeting up with danny , we may go have a few beers. Call us when you get off work chump
who said it wasn't turbo? who said it was hard? don't act like just b/c the hands of the almighty vteckidd touched a car that its awesome beyond anyones wildest dreams

lets be honest, what have you actually "built" in the true sense of the word?

    a b series that made 22X
    a b series that made 19X

neither of which im sure you have had a hand in tuning, which is where the real power and reliability comes from....so don't act like you're some honda god and people should listen to you b/c you're not, there are people on this forum that have pulled twice the hp/litre out of motors than you have

and im not knocking what you do, more power to you, im knocking what you sell...youre the ssautochrome of the header world right now, i congratulate you

I could sit here and post for hours on cars ive built that WERE not mine. Or cars i had a hand in building, or parts selecting. My resume is long and so are my customers. Do you really want to get in that war? I mean i can have everyone ive ever consulted, helped build, given deals, etc on here if thats what you want.

I dont tune cars, its not my specialty. Scotty does, he tuned my cars for me. well actually my first CRX charles tuned cause all i had was a VAFC and a chipped ECU. But who cares, oh so now im not a real car builder because i dont tune cars. Makes sense.

I am EFI Certified though just FYI.

I built a 190whp B Series with stock rods and pistons. With a header no one had, with cams no one had, with valvetrain no one had, and i revved it to RPMs people said you couldnt. I was making 190whp with OEM honda parts when everyone elses built motor was making 180whp. So yeah that was an achievement

I built a 237whp NA car with off the shelf rods an pistons, street ported head, and prototype camshafts that no one else had. Many people have way crazier built motors or way more trick stuff and havent come NEAR my motors numbers. You can thank Don for that.

that 240whp CRX beat 400whp turbo hondas, 300-350whp IS300s, bunch of cars. It was short lived cause it wasnt fast enough for me, but it was pretty cool at the time.

So yeah, again, just cause you dont like ME, doesnt mean shit when it comes to my cars.

What have YOU done my friend that is so grand?

and im not knocking what you do, more power to you, im knocking what you sell...youre the ssautochrome of the header world right now, i congratulate you
Search my name on the forums, im talked about a lot more and with way more positive comments than SS Autochrome. But maybe one day ill be as big as them.

It pays well thats all i can say. And im happy my business has grown 300% in 1 year. To any bank of financial institution, that is impressive. Must be doing something right

I always wondered something. When jimmy had a built h22 motor and was running 14s in a PRO car, why did he even bother too race? Im sure his car weight was the same as Mikes Crx and probly had more power!

    Just wondering!

The NA cars are much harder to get good times out of MUCH harder. Hell remember when peters Integra would have a shitty launch and still coast to a low 10 sec pass. You can do that with 900whp .

NA cars, everything has to be perfect or your times suck.

You have to launch HARD and be able to hook. Street tires is almost pointless as having them on a 1000whp FWD car.

Ok sorry i meant Mclaren F1.

    Honda S2000 240hp (F20C) (2.0 liter Inline-4) 120 hp/liter
    McLaren F1 627hp (6 liter V-12) 104.5 hp/liter

It also makes more than most of the Ferraris out there.

Im pretty sure back in 99/2000 when the S2000 came out there was an article that was comparing it to an F1 CAR like the race cars. Maybe it was the only production car that had that much hp per liter except for an F1 car, oh well you get my point.

    Actually back then

    1995–2004

This era used a 3.0 L formula, with a power range between 650 hp (485 kW) and 950 hp (708 kW)

So my 2.0l motor was close to an F1 in terms of hp/liter.

Nope, I'm not participating in the pissing match, I couldn't possibly give a shit less about an all-motor B-series. I'm just saying there is no point being that cocky. I don't have a problem with either of you personally. I guess I could have worded it better, but eh who cares.

Why , its true. I know more than he does, how is that a bad thing to say lol.

danny knows more about insurance than i ever will. He knows more about turbo hondas than i ever will.

You prob no more about circle jerking on farm animals than i do.

I just stick to what i know, and in the field of NA hondas, there isnt anyone remotely close to my knowledge. Sorry i have over 8 years of engine building, testing, 500+ dyno graphs, blah blah blah
