237whp, highest whp NA B series still to this day in GA to my knowledge, i dont think anyone has beat it. Thats 5 years running. (well techincally i was tied for 1st with a guy from Athens named STREET STUFF on here)

It was fast, ask anyone that drove it or rode in it. It was an 11 second car had i ever had the time to take it to the track. You may not respect or like Hondas but it was quite an achievement at the time. It was one of the first 230+ NA 2.0ls in the country. I was 1 of 3 people with the Skunk2 PRO3s at the time in the country (they werent even being sold yet). I had the first Hytech Production header (they sent it to me for testing).

Just because you dont respect it dont knock it. Lets see you get 120WHP per liter out of your car. Actually i had my motor engine dynoed and i made 276bhp so thats close to 140hp per liter. Thats more than F1 engines. Thats way over 100% VE.

Go do that and come talk to me.

I also had a 700whp 2JZ 240sx , that sadly never saw the street, but it did run 11.0s before the motor went. That cost a pretty penny to build.

I bought my 450whp Silvia (that i turned into a stock silvia cause i didnt want the headaches).

those are the 3 cars im most known for.

Well actually my 190whp CRX from back in the day is prob the most known cause i street raced all the time. I was the first person IMO to have the ANR header and to run Rocket Motorsports Cams. I Was running stuff people around here never had or even thought of buying. 190whp doesnt sound like much, but that car almost never lost to anything.

so yeah, shut the fuck up

I don't really give a shit. Anything I post about = mike bitching me out about something.

Oh and i CHOSE to build NA cars. That was my passion. Others chose to build big HP Turbo Cars.

    Others chose to build V8s.

    Others like body kits.

Dont knock my shit because it was NA and "not impressive". Trust me if you were around back in the day my little CRX held its own. I beat more than my fair share of V8s, TT Audis (SHoutout to Hugo Danny lol), SRT4s, EVOs and other hondas.

And its alot harder to build a all motor B series then say a turbo fully built D series motor. I have respect for ,Mike for doing it. I have researched it alot and that shit aint no joke. I ratehr just go turbo and be done with it...

ehh...it's not that hard, there are members on this board that made 40'ish less hp than him on a stock head and crap exhaust...a little more money thrown at it and theyre in that area with ease

    HAHA you really are ignorant.

I know more about hondas than you ever will, its obvious you have no idea what it takes to build a 240whp NA Honda. Neither do your friends.

Mainstream put out most of the high whp NA cars in GA when i worked there, Including mine.

Get in line son, all i hear is "its not that hard" but here we are 5 years later and me and street stuff are the only ones who have done it. Where is everyone else at?

People that make 200whp dont have stock head, they have at least an ITR style cam , header, tuned. I know what it takes to make that power ,you obviously dont. And no, its not a simple "add this cam and exhaust BOOM 40whp gain"

If it was everyone would be doing it

did i say it was? i said throw some more money at it and there you go...its not rocket science, yea its easier said than done, but most people are smarter than to build an all motor honda...everyone knows where the real power is, and it aint no 240hp crx (and no im not knocking the all motor guys, i just could careless about a all motor honda)

Why , its true. I know more than he does, how is that a bad thing to say lol.

danny knows more about insurance than i ever will. He knows more about turbo hondas than i ever will.

You prob no more about circle jerking on farm animals than i do.

I just stick to what i know, and in the field of NA hondas, there isnt anyone remotely close to my knowledge. Sorry i have over 8 years of engine building, testing, 500+ dyno graphs, blah blah blah

I always wondered something. When jimmy had a built h22 motor and was running 14s in a PRO car, why did he even bother too race? Im sure his car weight was the same as Mikes Crx and probly had more power!

    Just wondering!

The NA cars are much harder to get good times out of MUCH harder. Hell remember when peters Integra would have a shitty launch and still coast to a low 10 sec pass. You can do that with 900whp .

NA cars, everything has to be perfect or your times suck.

You have to launch HARD and be able to hook. Street tires is almost pointless as having them on a 1000whp FWD car.

    Shit, aint that right.

Shift slow once, .5 second slower. Too low of RPM at launch, .5 slower. Ride the clutch just a LITTLE too much, .5 second slower.

I can't count how many 14.5's my hatch ran between the mid 13's. LOL.

I'd much rather a 200whp+ NA honda than a 250-350whp turbo honda, though

grow a sack and ask him, his screen name is jjmastertech

the hotrod never ran slower than 9.9 in competition, so not sure what "racing" you are referring to

if you're talking about the original nitrous car i have no idea, that was before i ever met JJ, but i remember the car ran in the 10's on a stock ecu...go figure, my friends don't know how to make power with hondas

and i might as well run down my list since i'm bored and i don't know anything about hondas

i dont remember all the specifics on the car, but im 99.9% sure the car went 10's on a nitrous fed h-series and a stock ecu...keep in mind this was a pro car, which weighed nothing....but i could be wrong, like i said, im almost 100% sure that was the deal though

i would hope your $8-10k n/a motor would have made more than my stock z6 t-25 single cam, or my t3/t4 mini me....gtfo with that bullshit

it ran what? 11.0? lulz @ your face....all goes well i'll be sub 11.0's friday night...i just ran 11.13 on my 1st full nitrous pass on slicks with about 5lbs of nitrous in a bottle with no gauge....friday = gauge and heat in the bottle and more seat time....set to put that 700hp 2jz in it's place in a heavier car, with a/c, leather, a 6 disc cd changer, and less power

it went 11.0 on low boost, first pass down the track, it wasnt 700whp. It only made those numbers on the dyno. At the track it was at 500whp aka 14psi.

Doesnt matter, mine was faster, and cost less. try again

My crx was faster than your turd SOHC turbos, so, try againx2

You arent winning any bonus points here. So you have a GTO and put nitrous on it, congrats, whopptee fucking doo LOL

Somehow a GTO with nitrous is so much more baller than a 240whp NA CRX. If you dont like it, great. No need to be a dick about it.

But you seem like a keyboard commando

I always wondered something. When jimmy had a built h22 motor and was running 14s in a PRO car, why did he even bother too race? Im sure his car weight was the same as Mikes Crx and probly had more power!

    Just wondering!
Dude, that was years ago. We did a lot of testing and yes when you are testing different stuff you are not trying to run a personal best on every pass. At least I was out there supporting sport compact racing. If more people had supported sc racing, there would still be a scene out there. My Hot Rod ran 9's consistantly the last half of 2007 and was on course to go quicker but we lost our series.

    Yes I ran a 10.600 @ 133 and backed it up with a 10.8 @ 136 on a stock H22 ecu and fogger system.

Yes, for a street car. Definitely.

I just wouldn't compare it to the equivalent of NASA.

the honda market crashed when gas went up. I was getting EKs for $800-1000 with blown motors throwing SOHCs in them and selling them for $3500-4000. Then, it was like over night the EKs came down to $2200-2500 selling prices. Whats funny is EJ Coupe still are priced that high so its weird.

I dunno i just stopped looking
