my hubby was looking to get in to firefighting. he went through the acamedy in florida then moved up here and had to start all over. he succeeded in all of the testing but when it came down to getting hired they wanted people with experience. so, start volunteering at a local station. then you will probably have to take some schooling depending on the county.
