I used to be a firefighter and I loved almost every minute of it. There were some pains in it, but that can be said for any job. It can be very rewarding, but it can also be very difficult. Be prepared to do alot of heavy lifting, working in dangerous situations, and having a crazy schedule. The best way to prepare is to start working out both cardio and muscular. You need to have good endurance or working in the heat of a fire will kick your ass fast. Look more into it and get as many viewpoints on it as you can. I think you would love it if you are that interested in making a slight impact on society. Follow your heart and do what makes you happy. Best of luck to you man.
