So how what should I train for. What type of things do I need to know? What should I expect when I test for this?

I've heard that up to 5 years of my military can transfer into my retirement as a FF. Is this true?

Sammich don't gay up my thread with your rhetoric.
I hear my name came up and here I am!

Clayton County's Bravest in full effect!

To be honest, there isn't much that you need to know coming to the job because of the fact that most FD train in house. I don't know about transfering Military to Retirement, but it depends on the county you apply too.

Most counties will train you to be FFI/FFII and EMT-I training as well.

Personally, I'm FFI/FFII/FAO/EMT-I/Haz-Mat Tech, all within the county.

Any other questions, you can think of, just let me know.
