I am not insinuating anything. I was using your scenario to point out that if someone yells at you for not being satisfied with thier work, then the chances are good that they feel thier work was good enough and the customer is the unreasoable one. Whether or not your shop would do anything to Chris' cars is irrelevant. Your partner/painter let that car leave, which tells me he was satisfied with the work, and then told Bugman that he was done working on his "junk" and that Chris' business is no longer welcome there. If I was treated in this matter there is no way I would come back.Originally Posted by xPhantomSilviax
well technically that depends. you could obviously still write a letter saying they're horrible because they don't know how to cook a steak, just not that they didn't try to fix itOriginally Posted by xPhantomSilviax

Chris this sounds just like another business we know of huh?...For everyone here that doesn't know Chris I met him over 4 years ago and he is and his family are stand and give you shirt off their backs...matter of fact I think I remember Chris selling/trading on a car one time and the trans busted on the way home and from my memory Chris had him towed back to his house and gave him a new trans and installed it for him. Thats exactly excellent business.

Ha Ha good ol Joe. That was the first time I had ever met him. I forgot all about that. When he got here the car he was trading me wouldn't re-start because of a bad ground but we didn't know that at the time. I still traded because he drove from the Kennesaw area and the car was what I wanted at the time. It wasn't junk by any means just had a starting issue.Originally Posted by buddha@TeamFX

He never tried to hide anything and that alone told me that he was a great guy. I did have it towed back here by my wrecker company that we use. Met him back here took 1/2 day off work to put one of "my" trannys in the car and had him on his way within a few hours. He did offer to pay me something so I have to give him credit there. He wasn't looking for a freebie by any means but what I did is what I could sleep with.
I asked this question already but no one would answer. Maybe you will. You just got me to thinking about that. Emily, You, Joe, etc.
Do you remember the first time we met?

I love the fact of some of the statements u made so how about we start with this 1.
[QUOTE=xPhantomSilviax]Yes, he is my dad. I'm "known for getting people banned on 240atlanta for doing bad business"? Your problem is that you just don't know when to stop and check your facts, and would rather state things based on rumor and one person's account instead of gathering all your facts.---------------------------Now watch her pwn herself righ here after saying that--------->THAT'S why I played a hand in getting him banned. And I called him out because he was straight up lying about the condition of a car he was selling on there. That's all.
DID I MISS SOMETHING?? YOu just stated you called him out for doing bad business about because he was lying about the condition of a carYour right that is bad business and what you did was bad business thats why u got called out, makes since now don't it
.

Bugman made the right decision on not taking the cars back, even a paint booth will not save you lol.
Tell me emily, how is a paintbooth going to stop overspray on taillights/tires?
Again, how is a paintbooth going to help with parts of the bumper not being painted?
and again, how is a paintbooth going to help you not get runs? RUNS IN THE BASE COAT AT THAT, how the hell do you run base coat, clear coat i can see, but base coat?!?!?! wtf and you say your going to take a brush a touch up a spot that you were suppose to paint?????
The paintbooth as of now is not your main concern (even though you really need one, for environment reasons/trash in paint) But you need a new painter/prep.
OH and some pointers, if you want. Take off parts that you can, like taillights, antannae, bumpers, and side skirts. You will get a much cleaner paint job, and save on tape and paper materials.
for ****s sake someone call OSHA!
Bring it by the house, prep here, swing by Bugmans place for the paint boothOriginally Posted by shagwAg3n

I don't know anything about painting a car. So forgive me for asking this. But how do you get paint on a tire, is that just bad aiming? I read the thread, and saw the red truck, and saw that on the front tire, does that happen with bad aim or simply not paying attention?
it's called overspray from not masking the sh*t off properly.Originally Posted by SlowsterCivy
