Oh and as far as drifting , belive it or not there are A LOT of people that like drifting, I know and Kabir don't and thats fine but I would MUCH rather sit and watch drifting then sit and watch a dyno contest, thats just me. Also this should be about what a customer would want to see and decide what each shop has to offer, i wouldnt take a car to shop A to have it built as a drift car because that isnt what they do, they specialize in NA cars or they specialize in road racing or whatever the case... but i could take that car to shop B and C. just my oh and Admin, i know you are about tired of hearing our idea's lol..
Maybe judge the cleanliness of the engine bay but thats it. So what if a drag or drift car has a dent in the quarter panel, is that gonna make you not wanna go the that shop?

I would rather watch drifting that other people dyno also, but what the hell does that have to do with choosing a shop? If you are gonna build a drift car you choose the parts and get the shop to install it.

yeah i dont think drifting should be a aprt of this.

many epople will go to the drag strip

many people wanna show of dyno's and a clean installed engine bay

how many people here will go drift their cars?

im also guessing finding a good place to have a drift comp + insurance + all that jazz would cost quite a bit. but a regular autox shouldnt be that much and drag is like 15 bucks.

I should have clarified on the show part, i just meant somewhere for shops to put their cars where we could see what actually went into them, and how professionally (visually atleast) they were done instead of having them roped off where noone could get near or see them. there are 100 ways to cram a B18 into a civic, all i care about is how well that is done if that were my car of choice.

not everyone knows how to build a car so choosing parts isnt that easy for them, i know what it takes to build a drift car, i know absolutely nothing about building a drag race honda, so i would call ISP and talk to the guys there instead of just "choosing a part" and having a shop install it. when you are building a 600+ hp drag car or a 300 hp drift car it isnt as simple as just "choosing a part" and going from there.. well, it that is if you want to have any success with it.
