In light of all the TS vs Batlground shit, people know my history with MM, Knowledge Performance isnt really on the board much anymore, i had an idea.


DYNO DAY, ALL SHOPS INVITED.
Must have a VALID TAX ID and STORE FRONT.
Neutral Location that all shops agree on.
Shops get a Street car and Race car to enter
OR
1 Cars per class
Street Classes
4 cylinder class NA
4 Cylinder Class Power Adder
6 Cylinder Class NA
6 Cylinder Class Power Adder
8 Cylinder NA
8 Cylinder Power Adder

PRO CLASS (race cars IE MM vs BAtlground vs AAP etc) run what you brung, any cylinder, any poweradders

HAS TO BE A SHOP CAR or a CAR THE SHOP BUILT. NO RINGERS. Street classes MUST RUN PUMP GAS. PRO CLASS can run anything. this keeps Peter and BEE honest unless Peter runs race gas for the PRO class

anyone interested?

So far i can count:
MainStream Performance
BatlGround (spoke to trace already)
Mahdavi Motorsports (im sure jaime can get them to enter)
AAP (never takled to them)
Knowledge Performance (im sure melvin could be interested)
Topspeed (never tlaked to them)
TURBODAVE ( ill talk to him)
Import Source Performance (i know they would enter)
H+M Motorsports (never talked to them)

anyone think of any other shops? any changes to the rules? lets keep this civil, no shop attacking or prediciting who will enter or not etc

We will have to choose a NEUTRAL location or a place we all deem is worthy.

It would have to be a 4wd dyno cause im sure Batlgrounds EVO and im sure topspeed has a few 4wd cars.

we could charge an entry fee and go to DynoFormance , im sure they would lvoe to have the publicity.

well thats what i was going to say, there arent alot of AWD dyno's in the state and most of them are involved in the "contest" lol.

why wouldnt it be exciting? simple. a dyno doesnt really prove anything, it just shows who does a better job tuning the parts they used. in the case of someone like you getting involved ( i know you recently "merged") you for the most part build some great NA honda motors but that will never compare to a 1000+hp evo/sti/supra if you know what i mean.. i guess what im saying is, everyone would be in the PRO class, so there is no comparision.

i think the pump gas is good cause it shows a true street car. and it will make Batlground and ISP and MM think about whther they want to compete in the PRO class or the regualr street classes. i mean, would you rather win the PRO class, or win the street class? Would peter want to go head to head against Batlgrounds EVO on race gas, or does he tink he can win on pump ? see what i mean, it would make things more interesting

right but that is assuming someone would be willing to take their car that does what it does now and detune it so it is safe to run on pump gas for this contest? i just dont see it happening. i will be intersted to see the rules as paul sets them up... just to see if there is a difference.

You have to really define pump gas,

IE pump gas + methanol

IE pump gas+ 100 octane unleaded

IE pump gas + tolulene

Be careful

i think we limit it to 100 octane.

cause you can buy 100 octane at the pump, NO ADDITIVES, no TOLULENE etc

I don't think pump gas will work only because you can't regulate it. Are we going to test fuel? Dan is certified to test fuel by the NHRA, but who will trust him I say run what you brung for the class decided. Just another reason to go to the track
