To be fair.. groups like the KKK add balance for the same reasons, as long as they act non violently. The purpose is to create an awareness and some things tend to go over the general public and gets picked up by these "extremes" being Sharpton, Jackson, KKK, etc.

A good example of an issue that the whites should have been all over is the murder/rape of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, both are white and all 5 suspects are black. If the tables were turned it would have been considered a hate crime but they are not being charged as such. You can find the entire story here:
