Jamie, excellent post. Let me add that the Jena 6 fiasco was pretty much pure bull****. Let's go over the facts.

1. Some blacks want to sit under a tree. Why? Not because they wanted to, but because whites sat under the tree. So they felt entitled. Nothing wrong with that, free country.
2. Some whites didn't like it and hung nooses in the tree. Too which they were suspended, but not charged because there is no law on the books that gives a criminal penalty for hanging a piece of rope in a tree no matter what shape it's in.
3. Some blacks get mad and beat up a white kid, not necessarily the white kid that hung the rope, but a random white kid. Not only beat him up, they ganged his ass with 6 people.
4. The 6 get slapped in jail, because there IS a law against stomping the crap out of someone. Attempted Murder, too stiff but understandable considering 6 on 1.
5. In comes Super Sharpton and Black Wonder Jackson to rally behind the 6. Everyone saw this coming and is to be expected.

Here's where the stupidity begins.

No matter what promoted the beating, it was a crime. Therefor the kids are criminals. Superdude and the Black Wonder then proceed to have a march. "The Civil Rights movement on the new millenia" I belive they referred it too.

So they compared the legitimate Civil Rights movement, a powerful tool for change in the United States to 6 black thugs beating and stomping a defenseless, innocent white teenager at a party. It's all over the TV, radio and internet and guess who is at the front screaming for racial this and racial that? 2 dumbasses by the names of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

That is just another reason to add to Jamies why these 2 do more damage to the black race than they do to help it. Because no matter what good people do every day that flys under the radar, the pubcli only sees these 2 clowns poking their fingers into anything and everything they can to blow it up into a race problem.

So JITB, by your line of reasoning, without those 2 clowns we wouldn't have a problem where everything gets spun into a racial dispute because "ain't nobody tripping on the man anymore" and nobody points fingers. I call bull**** on that one. Sorry man.
So you want to start locking kids up for 25 years because of a fight at school? Wow

But the issue isnt the Jena 6, the point was.. what is Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton good for and I gave it to you. Its not an "any means necessary" position because in the grand scheme of things how do they effect you personally? They don't, anyone trying to find resolve in an issue will use any and every resource they have to accomplish the task at hand, Jackson and Sharpton are simply resources.

We can argue this till our fingers fall off but the gist of it is.. theres only two ways to get rid of either one of them:

1. End racism but that will never happen

2. Dead.. but once they're gone more will follow.. its inevitable.
