i see some of you are big on this 18 wheeler theme, seems like a good plan until you've tired yourself out filling up an entire trailer with food, that now rots on the side of the road because you have no fuel for your truck due to electrically automated fuel pumps. also remember that the undead hunt primarily by sound and any vehicle will undoubtedly send every zombie within the tri-county area stumbling your way. a reasonable amount of food is an excellent idea to carry with you until you can become self-sufficient in growing/gathering your own food. keep in mind exhaustion is your worst enemy when fleeing or fighting the undead and carrying unneeded food is an excellent way to make yourself totally useless.


Everyone seems to be talking about fleeing to distant islands or other places they deem safe, well have fun getting there. why needlessly cross hundreds of miles of land just to end up in a place you know nothing about. The best option is to secure and fortify an area you feel safe in as close as possible. the ability to know your surroundings inside and out will always give you an advantage over the enemy seeing as they show no ability to think or reason.

One. It wouldn't be a small group gathering the food, i would say that their should be a group gathering the food and a group guarding the people while doing so.

Two. Ever heard of using the electricity from your engine to power a converter which would power a fuel pump you can use to draw out the gasoline you would need?

Three. Yet again it wouldn't be a small group. You would have multiple teams of people watching out for each other and everyone. You would have groups of cars with lots of weapons.

Four. You wouldn't wanna go some where like the country or the city really. In the city their is to many places to hide, same with most of north Georgia. You would wanna go some where that you would have good range of view. Also, thats why they have these things called maps so you can know the terrain.


I wouldn't worry about being exhausted considering this would more than likely be a larger group that would be working as a team taking turn doing certain jobs. I wouldn't worry to much about riots considering you could just blast away.

If you decide to go the vehicle route then yes mounting your guns would make sense. i'll still side against taking any type of vehicle myself, as we all know they are not perfect and break down, get stuck ect...

i do agree that indeed we need weapons, ESPECIALLY guns, killing the undead from a distance is key. equally important is making sure you are prepared for hand to hand combat when necessary.

First, Id go out and cut the back off my my jeep, turn that shit into a warthog from halo, and throw my Brush guard on there ( I dont wanna fuk up my headlights ), Drive up to my local walmart, shoot everyone inside, Zombie or no zombie, and lock that shit up tight. Everyone knows that the more people, the more dumbfucks you have that will flip out and open a door somewere, and then the zombies fuck everyone, go to the hunting section grab all the guns/ammo, a shit ton of canned foods and hold myself up in the security office, were all the screens from the cameras all over the store are and chill in there, Ill know if a zombie comes up in there.

yeah, it would work a few times maybe.

personally im going with an m1 garand, and .45 pistol (with silencer) and machete as side arms. the m1 is easy enough to manuver around with, yet still packs enough punch to destroy the brain in one or two shots. there is NO other way to kill a zombie than destroy the brain, it is the only thing still "living". no matter how badly the rest of the body may be destroyed the zombie will trielessly continue an attack until completly destroyed.
