If you decide to go the vehicle route then yes mounting your guns would make sense. i'll still side against taking any type of vehicle myself, as we all know they are not perfect and break down, get stuck ect...

i do agree that indeed we need weapons, ESPECIALLY guns, killing the undead from a distance is key. equally important is making sure you are prepared for hand to hand combat when necessary.
