You missed my point man. MY dad was the coward. couldn't look at me in my face and be a dad, made promises to me (xmas, visits, etc) while QD's dad left ZERO room for debate. In a fucked up way, it is looking him straight in the face and his mom, saying "I want no part of this." I have more respect for QDs dad than I will EVER have for mine. My dad didn't sign away his rights (giving me the illusion that he wanted to be there), but still wasn't there. THAT is more fucked up.
I am not sorry for my situation - my step dad was a better dad than Robert was even capable of being even if he WANTED to be there. LOL. There are fucked up dads who live in the same house w/ their kids - those kids would be better off w/ a step-dad that wants to be there, than a biological dad who sucks ass. It looks like a coward thing to do, but how many people that GREW UP w/ their dad in the house and haev nothing good to say about them. IMO, QD prob got the better end of the deal in a fucked up kinda way.
