I've said it a million times. There are just as many racist black people as there are white, green, and blue people. Actually both use the same excuse for being racist.....something "someone" else did years ago to somebody is the reason why they are the way they are TODAY....

We don't live in a world filled with color blind people. So if you want to be treated equal to anyone, don't make COLOR the basis for anything. That includes TV, awards, pageants, history months, etc.
I will be the first to admit that I am racist/prejudice/whatever the hell else there is out there....I am more likely to grab my purse tighter on MARTA when a white guy gets on late at night than I am over a black man. I am more likely to walk to the other side of the road if I am alone on a street with a black man....I admit it...Just like I have also learned when to play the race card in order to get myself to where I need to be (social status/job opportunity.)
