Have you served a 15 year sentence? Judging by your age posted in you profile, the answer is No. Yes, they are being let off too easy. The average criminal get out on probation, while only serving less than half of his sentence. If we are only going to hold them to less than half of what we say, then what we sentence them to is a bullshit number.
