Try charging the phone or replacing the batteries. If that fails, we sell some pretty cheap Vtech phones at BestBuy... in case you need a replacement.

lol, but yeh have you tried checking your oil level? what ecu are you running? maybe your vtec solenoid isn't holding enough pressure.

if you're not running an o2 sensor and a cel is on...you have a few issues to work on first. have you checked codes?

the original VTEC was "Lift Electronic", although most people miscontrue or change it to "Electronic Lift" cause it sounds better.

c5 runs good on a p72? isn't it going to throw a code because of the butterflies?

no it didn't run as good as now..it just kicked in really hard for some reason (no CEL at all)...maybe just because it was at the wrong engagement point for the cam lobes. I got a P73 about a month later and the engagement was so much smoother, it's still a big change though.

hmm, speaking of which, could I run a p73 on my gsr? or it wouldn't work at all?

not with stock internals...the engagement points are differant for a reason...differant cams, etc...just run a piggy back unit like a VAFC or something to play with the fuel, etc...

Uberdata requires obd-1. You can not chip an obd-2 ecu. It can be reflashed or a piggyback can be run, but you can not chip it. You would need an ecu from a 93-95 w/ manual or automatic whichever you have.

and you are correct, thats why I was planning to get a obd2-1 conversion from vteckidd and run a p28.

I gotcha, the way I read your post previously was that you wanted to chip an obd2a ecu from a 96. That's why I posted what I said. Just wanted to make sure you weren't going to go on a never ending search to find out how to chip an obd2 ecu!

btw, I run a chipped p28 obd2-obd1 conversion in my car. I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

lol, sorry for the confusion, but yeh that was my plan but wondering would that fail emissions?

^^^absolutely! As long as you have a catalytic converter and can put back on the stock obd2 ecu w/o pulling a CEL then you won't have a problem. The emissions test just plugs into the obd port and reads the ecu, if you are not pulling a code then you will pass, if you are pulling a code then you won't pass. My car wouldn't pass even if I hooked my stock ecu back up b/c I have no cat and a 2.5 inch header back exhaust, not to mention a few other things that would cause a CEL!
