1992 accord

Hey guys, my Honda Accord won't start. The starter turns the engine over, but it does not actually run. Could someone please help me with some ideas on what could be wrong? Please help.

Also my father said it could be the distributor, but he is not quite sure.

This is pretty broad man. You're going to need to check a host of things. Have you checked it for spark at the spark plugs? Have you checked to make sure the main relay is sending a signal to the fuel pump? Have you checked to make sure the fuel pump is operational?
