doesnt go on your record? so the officer blatently admitted that his jurisdiction does not report to the georgia department of motor vehicle services... i'm pretty sure by law they're supposed to...

what i would do (and god knows i've got a lot of tickets in my day LOL) is go to court. alot of times, they'll reduce the speed you were "clocked at" by 10mph if you plead guilty IN THE COURTROOM. if you just "pay the fine" the speed will most def not be reduced and if it DOES go on your record, i'm pretty sure 20 over is a 3 point violation. anyway... sometimes, like your case, that puts you below the 14mph limit and THEN it doesnt give you any points.

either way, good luck with it.

This past August, I went to my court date for a ticket I received earlier in the year and the judge dropped it down to a "City Misdemeanor" and it does not go on my record at all. It's as if I never got it. I paid the fine on that day. Last week I had to get an MVR for the past seven years and sure enough, that ticket was nowhere to be found. Later, QD.
