Facts speak louder than your stupidity, Auxiliary no you didnt say the CA has a lot of power you keep saying it sucks, Of course im not going to have a 700hp car b/c 1 I dont need one, 2 the turbo alone is insanely expensive, 3 I know that I cant handle 700hp and no one else on this forum can. Auxiliary please post that 700hp sr cause so far I havent seen it yet with a clip of the dyno sheet. .
1439/2000 I already proved my point, you asked me to prove the 700hp CA and 500 hp on stock internals easy go search on Nico and Sxoc numerous people on sxoc have done it. You asked for it I presented it. You feel the SR is better but again you havent explain the reasons why they are better but than again there isnt much to explain as there isnt any, please dont give me its got a timing chain bullshit theres a reason why the RB and VG motors are designed after the CA, there is a reason some of Nissan's earlier engine designers say the SR was designed so horribly and cheaply. You know why the CA was discontinued not b/c it sucked or didnt perform well quite the opposite it was b/c it was designed so extremly well that it cost to much to produce and thus the SR20 was born dont forget usually when a company is doing bad they'll skimp on things for example the SR. But whatever I'm sure you knew all that. I'm done with this forum nothing but fucking idiots and retards.

Then I provided some basic knowledge to show that CA might not be better but just as good in case you're all sensitive. Pumaking then provided informations and clips to show that the engine is just as good and you guys missed the point completely. 3 pages already and still no hard facts from the guys that said CA sucks. tsk tsk tsk....this is new level of retardation. I just want all of us to fuckin get along and have respect for all engines...wtf.

Hmm stock turbo sr ran a 12.8. Those big turbo CAs both ran mid 14s. Sadly that was the only times I saw on that forum. Besides "boost_boy" running a best of 13.9 in his CA powered sentra...FWD.

ok... yesterday i put on my manual boost controller and i was out testing it with someone and at about half throttle it hit 16 psi so we stopped and he adjusted it down and another run down the street and getting on it SLIGHTLY it hit 19 psi, so we turned around and i was just going to head back to my house and adjust it again and once again i BARELY got on it and hit 19 psi and i heard something come off the car and bounce off the ground and then the car died. we couldnt find anything on the side of the road, we looked forever too. The car runs like hell, wont really go anywhere and is definetly getting fuel, my dad had to come tow me home about 1/8 mile. We searched for any boost leaks and i checked all the IC piping this morning pretty well and nothing is detached that we could find. My friend says the turbo sounds fine but if there is no leaks, what else would it be? If only i could find whatever fell off the car, that could prolly solve this whole situation, but we cant find anything so thats outta the question. WHat do you guys think?? Any suggestions would be great.. thanks alot

was having a little fun the other night on my way back from picking up perscriptions from the cvs downtown (after being released from the hospital) and i look in my rear view mirror and cant see. smoke (white) is completely filling the street behind me. now, it is hard to describe the sheer epic proportions of this.... think james bond's aston martin db5 times two. filled all 3 lanes of the road and went about 15 feet up. you COULD NOT SEE behind the car. there was a loud pop right before the smoke according to the 2 people in the car behind me, and the smoke started pitch black and then faded to a very light grey/white. it smelled like 2 stroke.
my oil pressure was fine (25lbs idle, 60 under load) and my temp was fine. car runs like a top. i have no idea what happened, but i am very afraid to drive my car until i figure it out. please help me!

All that is required is you clock the compressor housing about 10 degrees (with a pair of snap ring pliers)! S14 and S15 turbos are similarly easy to install, but since I have never done those myself, I will leave it up to someone else to verify this fact.

There are guys are sr20forum with fwd sr20dets running 12s on stock turbo.
14psi, some cams, and other bolt ons and you can run 12s on stock turbo sr. Without slicks.

you guys went near a month without bringing this crap back up, good job. your arguing about "stock" motors and no one has mentioned the stock motors. stock the ca and ka have near the same power. stock the sr has more power than ca and ka. a stock rb20 is on par with a stock sr. the rb25 has more power than all the previously mentioned motors and godzilla is godzilla. now if you bought a ca to be different and not jump on the bandwagon, that was stupid. you should have bought an sr and modded it, then you wuold be suffeciently different and have more power. if you bought the ca cause thats what they had, thats what you could afford, and thats what you wanted then good for you. i want to build an rb30de. it would be cheaper and i would make more power if i just bought a rb26 and turned up the boost, but thats not any fun. you shouldnt be hatin on each other, we get enough of that from the outside. besides, the bread owns all.
