That will throw off its weight distribution big time. Cool none the less though.

If that belongs to who I think it is, then actually that LS1 setup is the alu block, alu head, etc. and is about 200lbs lighter than what was in the car originally (if I remembered correctly)

its a tad bit heavier than the f22c but not too heavy...ls1's are pretty light...

I find that hard to believe. I can't see the T56 being lighter than the Honda transmission. I also can't see the aluminum V8 being lighter than an aluminum 4cyl.

You're obviously ignorant when it comes to V8s. I got 28-32mpg on my heads/cam Z06. Granted, this was taking it easy on the car, but it's very tame when you want it to be.

    LSXs are aluminum block/heads.

And I'm typically all about big motors in little cars, but I don't know how I like this one yet. I'd also have to see the final product and weight distribution numbers.

    for being different though.

I don't know much about LSx blocks, but I remember reading a thread over on the S2K room that the owner weighed his previous setup and the LS and the LS is a lot lighter. But I'm not too sure. Nevertheless, that's a sickass setup
