    I wonder though what differential they're going to use. The diff is supposed to be the weak link on the S2k isn't it?

    It is... I had to replace one on my AP1 after it ate a bunch of its own teeth.
    I agree with what you said earlier too. The car is a great candidate for swaps because there is so much room, and because of where the engine sits. It isn't your typical setup for FR motoring.
    It has been said, but the LS1 isn't much heavier than most engines, and any weight gain will be offset severly by a huge increase in power and torque. I have been watching that build, and the guy is really doing it right.
