:idb:
How much longer? I wanna see some progress pictures! lolol
Your sig is epic~ Did it just happen like that or did you set it in there like that?
I'll be going up there today (in just a few hours), but the official photographer of the QD build up won't be there until tomorrow.Originally Posted by Brian*
The sig just happened like that. Dave just put the stuff on my car in the hatch and puregroove saw it like that and snapped the shot. Later, QD.
QD, i dig the new sig, are you going to add any more factory options?

Yeah thanks! I've been wondering how to reach him for months! I'm really tempted to do my roll cage in the mirrachrome he paints...not the real shiny reflective chrome but the satin silver. A steel cage painted with that would be 1/4 the cost of a brushed chromoly cage and look almost identical.Originally Posted by quickdodgeŽ

It's currently a tie between satin black or satin silver mirrachrome.
Now back to CVCC's! http://www.wiredonhonda.com/photos/1979civiccvcc/

LOL at the guy arguing with you earlier and saying stuff about you being a truck driver. I think its a good profession. Considering how my uncle is a truck driver for USPS and brings in about 1500 every week. Anyways good luck restoring this thing and bringing a classic back to life!!!
shhh...

these civics are pretty cool little cars. At one point I had two of them that I found in a barn on some property my grandpa left me. I also found a 1970 N600 tucked away in the corner. I couldn't afford the property taxes at 18, so I had to sell the land. I didn't have a way to get all of the cars out, so I took the N600 and just let the buyer have the two civics and everything else in the barn. Now I wish I would have kept the civics and left the N600. It's a rust bucket. The windshield was busted out, and I've never been able to find a replacement. The car is just rusting away in my back yard... It's probably not even worth trying to fix anymore....
anyways, you've got a pretty cool little project. Good luck with it!

Thats what I was planning on doing with this one. I was actually going to use a CBR1000RR engine. If I could have just found a windshield for the damn thing...Originally Posted by speedminded

Just need a universal sheet of Percy's Speedglass and cut it to fit. Using 1" black vinyl apply a border around the edge on the interior and it would look OEM.Originally Posted by allmotoronly

The car is so small I doubt a center support bar is needed!
If the windshield was flatter that would probably work.Originally Posted by speedminded

nice progress keep up the good work![]()
That particular NOS is energy for the body, lolol. And I like the first one you posted as well.
There will be some changes made in the plans to have this car painted, fellas.
Because of the way the car had been treated/painted in the past, there is a lot more work involved to get it done right. And to ensure that I don't spend all my money on this at once, we're doing it in two stages. Next week, when the car is done, it will be done with Stage 1. Pretty much all the bodywork (rust) will be taken care of. The color will be charcoal gray epoxy with a gloss clearcoat over it to protect it for the next few months. Later, QD.
moving right along congrats man u have to be anxious to get it done.

I guess we'll see, huh? But seeing as how it's only a fender, it would be easy to replace (which I plan on getting another to do so with). Later, QD.Originally Posted by sammich
Its coming along, QD. I'm glad you're getting it done right. As stated above for reasons of taking longer. I'm ready to see what the charcoal gray epoxy is going to look like on it. Goodluck on the rest of it, man.
