Ek hatch target is 250 hp

hey im working on Building a 97 ek hatch to 250 hp im gonna use a b18c spec R as a starting point then dc header, cold air, 3.5 egsaust, no cadlitic conveters, that may put me around 230 i think any sugestions? Plz dont say turbo thats why its posted hear i may consider going with difrent motor but cant afford k20

if you cant afford a K20 then theres no way you're even going to get close.

if you want to run on pump gas and make anything close to 250 these are my suggestions:

86mm block..
12:5 cr
bisimoto header
2.75-3 inch exhaust
skunk2 pro3 cams.... bc stg 5
and most likely itbs... or at least a performerx with 70 mm tb
port head

and of course all the supporting mods but these are your power gainers.

im not calcutating how much it will be with all these mods but with labor and tuning I would say it will put you over 10k.
