lookin good jenson!!! u plan on havin it up and runnin for IFO Atlanta? i wouldnt mind seein it when we come up
Thanks man!!! Of course thats not the one I put on though...but I pulled the motor back out yesterday anyway. I'll snap a couple pics of the two styles I have just to be certain. Gotta get some window weld in all my mounts too.
Im using the Demon/Neptune RTP and I have an Innovate LM2 to tune with. Im sure I'll eventually get down to mainstream to see how much power it makes but its not one of my list of priorities. My priority is IFO in Commerce!!!! Hopefully I'll be racing and I dont see anything holding me up on that.
Made an educated guess on where to cut the header and tac it up, and it fit rather nicely. Just barely rubs the oil pan at the collector now but everything else is spot on!!!

nice!
kaizenspeed has a new oil pan coming out for H2B, maybe you make one yourself so i can get one too! haha
i haven't gotten my header modified yet, but managed to rig it up
good stuff man hope to see you at ifo
awesome stuff man.
keep it up!

Been waiting for some updates! Everything is looking awesome
those are some good ass welds man.. you a robot???? reps
I saw that oil pan, holy balls that thing is sexy. Adding that to my to buy list later on. So far Im going to spend more money once its rolling than I have getting it driveable. So far Ive got, Liberty Face plating of gears, MFactory LSD, traction bars, MFactory lower ball joints, front and rear LCA's, and now the oil pan. Thats like $2800. Made my two little spacers, so thats good to go. I hope to have some time at some point this week to window weld the motor mounts so saturday I can just wake up and drop it all in. Thanks for all the compliments!!!
looking great, nice welds too . reps !
How much was that oil pan? I'm gonna get one if its around $300 or so.
Its $400, supposed to be shipping in the begining of march. Baffling is extra and on a customer needs basis. I'm on the pre-order list cuz I think its a great price and they make great stuff. Plus my oil pan is about 2" off the ground with my little 13's.
$400 isn't too out there. What needs to be done about the oil pickup? I mean it will be turned sideways in a flat pan. That is a really convenient pan. Really happy someone decided to make this because I would have to do something about it anyways. The selling point is the correct oil level.
i think jenson should make a couple, haha =]
^^^, Shit I'd buy one. Put me on the list
I'd think that with the pan being flat and closer to the pickup that it will bring the oil level closer to the pickup than the stock pan. Its my understanding that the bottom of their pan is the same level as the back of the stock pan and they just carried that on a flat plane. I would say that their pan will have less issue with starving the pickup than the stock pan.
Small update:
I've officially ordered my pan now, it comes with a pickup tube standard now as well as the hardware and dipstick. My header is done, mounts are done, all parts are done and waiting for me to drop it all in this weekend. All that will be left for next week is fluids and axles. I also ordered some Avid Pro TB's that wont be here in time for IFO and I doubt the oil pan will either.
Sounds like u making excuses already!!!![]()
No excuses, she'll be there, but not in full song I guess.
Final mock up
Look at all that clearance=Put your alt belt on before putting the engine in the car
Rear mount
Pan clearance, the suspension is still the same as it was for the 15's plus the tyres are really low on air. I will raise the car up about a 1-2 inches.

haha. are your moving the crank pulley in 1/2" or not?
Its in as far as it will go right now. I can still cut some off of it but there is plenty of clearance now...well enough lol. If I cut all that off and move it over then I have to do the same for the altenator cuz they line up pretty good right now. Looking at that first pic made me realize I need a throttle cable bracket![]()
are you running the alternator in the stock position? i have the lower alternator and moved in crank pulley.
tilt the alternator belt and slide it on
Im running the Evo alt kit with a B series alt. I tried, not quite enough room.
get it done yo and come on to the hoe down at commerce and Pit with us lol

Wow... The one and only Jenson!! The fabricator extraordinaire!! It's been a long time since I've seen that car. I thought by now you'd have a twin turbo, nitrous camaro running 8s shifting gears!! Welcome back and I can't wait to see you @ IFO. I used to pick your brain for hours back in the day!!
Quality Perfomance and Fabrication!!
Yea well, life slowed me down on the car stuff for a while. How you been man? You used to work at mahdavi right? Red vert SS?
Been good can't complain. Yeah I worked there for a year. I worked at Gwinnett Place Nissan after that for 4yrs then Maxxis tires in the R&D division for about 2yrs. Now I'm back in school full time trying to finish my engineering degree. Yeah I had the red vert SS. Wow I barely remember that car. I remember you had one also but I can't remember the color. I didn't even know you still had the hatch. Life has definitely slowed me down in the car game. Hope to see you at IFO.

Awesome!! Mines red too, hard top. Still got it too. Engineering degree is where its at. I'll catch up with you at IFO
Welding just takes practice, lots and lots of it, TIG that is.
Made some hood spacers today, should be able to paint the VC tomorrow, and hopefully get some fluids in it this weekend. Although I do have to help tune a turbo dodge on Sunday and take my son home...never enough time
Got everything sorted out Saturday...lots of grinding on the block and oil pan to get the half shaft in. Tons more grinding on the Alt to make it fit (using a B series Alt). The hood closes with 1" spacers, no grinding on the hood to make it close. Just ordered my IAT, MTF, and TB gasket from Honda. Tried to order a throttle cable bracket but its on back order indefinately. Guess I'll have to make one.
looks good man
i was trying to make ifo commerce to give you some competition but don't think i'm going to make it lol
Its all good, I was trying to make it to the October IFO, and now I'll just barely make this one.
Anybody got a stock EH2 throttle cable? IDK what mine is but is way to long. Made a bracket based on the H22 one but as you can see from those pics, the end of my cable is about 4-5 inches from where the bracket needs to be. I would have to make a bracket that attached to the opposite side of the manifold...its always something
nicely done
Always something...for some reason I have an obd2 altenator...now I gotta find an obd2 plug.
Nice
You know better; next time will be a ban.
nice
