How is it stupid?? lol. There are classes that suit a FWD car more then a RWD car, the list goes on of pros and cons. You don't know what you're even talking about.Originally Posted by NissanTun3r

1) I could care less about classes/professional racing and what they do, that's them and I am going to do me. This is the type of attitude that degrades the scene, I sit here saying I don't like to mod fwd cars and you start bashing, not that I care of course....but you need to understand not everyone feels the way simontibbett feels ok?Originally Posted by simontibbett
I do know what I am talking about and rwd/awd cars are more fun to drive, thus if I were to mod something it would def be rwd/awd
LOL! Without motorsports there wouldn't be a scene. People have been racing cars since cars were invented. From Grand Prix racing in the 20's to hod rod's and rat rods in the 50's it's always been about speed and/or looking good.Originally Posted by NissanTun3r
Simon spending $10 making his own lip verses a couple hundred on a Garage Vary lip isn't killing the scene lol! He's the one involved in it. He's the one working at car events. Parts don't get tested on street cars before they see the track. The R&D is on the track then it goes to the street.
You drive a 3,000lb FWD. What's the quickest, best handling, FWD you've ever driven?
The way I see it is if everyone would mod their car to their taste and not give a fuck what other people think the scene would be in much better shape. I love all types of imports. I bought my Celica GT-S because I wanted to be different. I have modded my car to my taste, and I really don't care who likes or dislikes me ride. I have some parts that would be considered rice on this forum, but I don't consider them rice. I have an aftermarket body kit but it is authentic, and was painted and installed properly. Does that make me a ricer just because I have a kit?

People buying knock off parts is hurting vendors and in turn hurts us as well. This is a fact.Originally Posted by speedminded
I do drive a 3k lb fwd car... I've driven a boosted teg with about 350 to the wheels, which is honestly more than a teg ever needs....but I have also driven 350's, m3's, an m5, and a c5 vette z06, etc, and I like rwd cars better, you may like fwd cars better, good for you, but I like rwd/awd cars better. If you have such a big problem with that then....lol
So everyone should only buy name brand parts, and never venture into making their own?Originally Posted by NissanTun3r

So you're comparing m3's, m5's, and Z06's to a 350hp turbo Integra? lololol! You can't even take turns in a FWD with that power, it's useless on the street in just about any gear, and with the lightest bit of rain it is useless in every gear at all RPM's.
A $18-22k MSRP car to those that are $55-85,000? Fail. Try again.
