It is when it's my car. Do you know how many people come up and compliment my Honda over a "tricked out" car? I don't get comments from people just in the modding world either. I get them from folks of all ages. Do you get in your car and drive to a store less than half a mile from your home and get a comment or two every time you go? I do. And my car is stock.Originally Posted by JITB

I can safely say I am one of the few who can actually stay "original." I have a car that damn near everyone has said "awesome" about but yet no one wants it. I love it. Me having a car that everyone likes but doesn't want means I will be the lone wolf in the crowd. And, for the most part, no one wants the car because they don't care to lack the creature comforts that cars of today come with. And there's nothing wrong with that.
I can go out in my car, stock or modded, and still get reactions in large numbers.
GO OLD SCHOOL!!!
But i do agree with the "who cares what others think, do it anyway" crowd. I'm guilty of displaying my dislike for some cars posted or seen or town, but I always like to end my opinions/thoughts with a "but don't worry about what I or anyone else thinks, do what you want" comment. That's to let that person know that just because I don't like it doesn't mean he/she shouldn't do it. Later, QD.
