A lot of you in this thread are saying that you think being slammed on the ground is "retarded" and "fucking stupid" and "no functionality." Yet you keep saying "make a car your own" and people need to stop hating.
Well, I think gaudy body kits on ANY car is fucking stupid. That's why I don't have one. Hell, I hated the things when they were "cool."
My car is slammed on the ground, but I like it and I'm "doing me." So don't be so quick to jump on anyone that says they think a certain civic looks terrible because it has a body kit, crazy fiberglass audio setups, and an insane paint job. They may not be "nut-swingers." They might just be someone that hates body kits. Because just as you think laying frame is stupid, I think body kits are stupid.
I'm all for people doing their own thing, and I won't hate on them for doing what they wanna do, but that doesn't change the fact that I hate it. Most of you commenting in this thread make a point to tell OP's that you think their slammed, on Rota's, plaid interior car is "just like everyone else's" and "non-functional" and "fucking stupid." In reality most of the people you are criticizing are just trying to do them with the limited funds they have. If I don't like someones car, I tell them. But I do so with respect to the work and effort they have put into their car.
It's human nature to want to be like someone you respect and have what they have. That's why there is so much bandwagoning going on.
