SHOW cars to me are like ones you see at SEMA or NOPI Nationals, cars that really serve no purpose on the street and are crazy audio visual. Great deal of body work, paint, etc. Performance may be a factor but its not the main attraction.

The problem with the main honda crowd is that body kits are RICE and audio/visual stuff is RICE. So they are so handicapped that they really have NOTHING to do anymore. I mean how many Integras with front Lips can you really do something different to?

About 2-3 years ago they started messing with the wire tucking stuff. Thats old school VW anyways.

Then it seems in the last 1-2 years the Wheel fad has popped up. Some guy out in cali did it to an EG and it became the thread of the month on Honda-tech and everyone bought into it. Now its an excuse for the lame kids to do something to their $1500 civic and think they are better than someone else. Its the cool thing to slam your car .5in off the ground on some lowrider wheels with -12091029 negative camber.

Now the popular thing ive seen in the last few months is this stupid "designer" cloth on your door panels, bumper, hood , roof, etc. This to me is just the epitome of lame. You might as well build a Donk. I mean Gucci on a Integra, are we fucking serious?

The 240 Crowd love it or hate it, they can get away with the crazy wheels, offsets, body kits etc so they can do a lot more stylish things and its cool to see what they do although a lot of their stuff is getting played out now too.

I think the thing 5-8 years ago was that it wasnt that big of a deal to have a bodykit on a honda. Now its like the cardinal sin. Originality doesnt exist anymore
