I personally find it humorous that the people who are into motorsports and drive RWD cars frequently are sticking up for fwd and the guy with a fwd sedan is discussing how unworthy of performance it is.

Regardless of drivetrain setup - FWD, RWD, AWD, etc. - any car can be made to be fast. But everyone is so afraid of doing anything different that they end up with Hondas and the same modifications. Those that truly care about performance aren't the ones making threads about their freshly sharpied fender or finish panel. While a good portion of why people end up with Hondas is the bandwagon movement, there are legit reasons why people pick them to modify in the first place. I agree with blacknightteg - so what if his car looks the same as others out there? Its his car to do with what he wants. But I bet if he posted a picture thread about it right now there would be a dozen people telling him to lower it more and do numerous other things.

One of the drivers of our endurance races drove Vipers when he wasn't in the Del Slo's. I never heard him once complain about the race cars 200+ whp FWD drivetrain when he's used to driving 500+hp RWD's. Grip racing is racing. It's a competition, door to door, doesn't matter FWD or RWD. It's still running flat out 9k RPM's for 13 hours straight.
