    600whp+ is the new reliable with built motors. and BC 4.2 blows. you still have about $1500 in machine work just to get the crank to work. the GTM 4.2 is almost a drop in crank/bottom end set. and strokers are for ballers.... big ballers! BAM BAM FTW!

    yeah Bam's car is the one I was drawing experience from. There are people making his power levels now without a stroker. His car is sick no doubt though. He wishes he had didi some things differently now though. +1 on the 4.2L not being worth the money. The gains are minimal and I think it makes the engine less reliable. Built motor with Cosworth plenum and you are set. I hope to get a new set up by this fall, probably Forged S1 shortblock with Cosworth plenum and either HKS Fcon or Haltech EMS, still undecided.
