Everyone makes this car sound like its the best there ever was. Its not.

I would like to see both the GTR and the Z06 on the same tires, at the same track, on the same day, with the same driver. I've seen a stock C6Z06 on road atlanta with race tires and im here to tell you, the GTR wont keep up. Anyone that has done trackdays when a vette is on the track with a good driver can tell you, it just wont happen.

The way I look at it is that the Z06 is a street legal race car and the Nissan is just a hall ass street car.

I will get a full comparison of the two up sometime (unless someone else wants to) just to show the differences between the two.

i disagree not sayin its the best ever....

1st people were saying it wasnt gonna perform better than the previous GTR, it did..

than came the people saying the power isnt really there... it is

than they said it wouldnt perform on the track worth a dam... it does

now i think u all might get the GTR mixed up with the previous skyline GTR because that car was based off a previous platform. BUt the Gtr is all its own and purpose built just like the Z06.

Yeah, so does the vette. Until I see a comparision on the same day, same track, and same tires...im going to go with the vette. Dont get me wrong, the GTR is one sick car and is one of top cars in its class but i dont think its what everyone is making it seem like.

This is what I cant wait to see. The GTR run against the vette, viper, and ferrari in T1 with the SCCA. The cars are stock and most run on the same tire.

    POWER to WEIGHT
    GTR-3794lbs. (autoweek) with 473hp= 8.021
    Z06-3162lbs. (chevrolet) with 505hp=6.261
