it tends to make power in high compression 1.8's and 2.0's but unless the 1.8 is built with some nice size cams and a ported head most 1.8's can't flow enough air to really put the manifold to good use because on the huge plentum. 2.0's can make pretty good power with them in mild compression setups but it's nothing you would want to use on your b16 or near stock 1.8 unless it's boosted or built.
