I've been there done that, my dad raised me on pushrods, and circle tracks! I've worked on the mud motors, I'm good man.. I have no where near 5k in my whole car!! I might have 3k in my motor/tranny, then the 600 shell which has every part in-tacked!!
Whats more fun, getting sideways in a rwd or torque steer in a fail wheel drive, just saying...
I'm just going by what Don told me 5-6 years ago. I delivered chip his PRO2 cams somewhere outside savannah I think on a trip back from Dons.
I swear don said he built his motor, or engine dynoed it. He also did tell me chips made less than mine but wouldn't tell me an exact number. But again that was 5-6 years ago
I call bullshit I'm sorry. It's easy to say "oh I make that but I'm not gonna post or show numbers". 250whp is not easy to make and I know what it takes on a b series. It takes $2000-3000 jenveys, PRO3 cams, 12+ compression, 2.0+, and precision assembly. You can't just slap it together.
I'll pay ANYONE $100 and pay for their dyno time if they show up at mainstream and break 250whp with a B SERIES. So there's your chance to prove it. Email me [email protected] and I will keep it confidential.
That's how positive I am that maybe 1-2 exist if that.
And b20/vtec don't make 230 with just cams. If they do, again I'd love to see it. I went out and street raced in 2009 and early 2010. NO ONE had anything remotely fast all motor unless it was an h2b or k series.
El-canigri had a 2.0l he bought/traded from me that DFE built that made 220-230 IIRC.

This is Racing and IS NOT to be taken serious, UNLESS it was your profession. You build and tune street cars. NOT 8000 hp dragsters! Your shop is MORE IMPORTANT than a damn race at the track. The track is going NOWHERE! The events are going NOWHERE! Handle your business and finish setting up your shop. You guys heave PLENTY of time to race. Next event is July 30 in Montgomery and thats Import Showdown.

Im not saying its as hasrd as mike is saying it is but the simple fact is you have to know your shit . So unless there is a shop in georgia that specializes in all motor builds its even going to nbe hard for a shop to do it .
I dont care if you could disco monkey and he gave you his exact setup or i told you what i had in our 250plus motor unless you got a shop that fools with all motor hondas alot your not going to make the power and its not going to stay together.
Simple fact . I can build a h22,Gsr ,Kseries motor in one day as long as all the parts are sitting there that can make over 600hp with a realy nice turbo kist on it.
Unless it is a certain build that you have done numerus times it will take you weeks to build a 250plus all motor build simple as that.
I have much respect for disco monkeys car but he did slap a b series motor together and come kill everybody in the all motor pro class .
Number one calling it a pro class is a joke but i had to get them to do something so we could compete with slicks.
Number two he has had hie setup for along time and done his home work, He knows his shit and for that i give him props he has a very nice set up.
Number three i dont car who you think you are unless you know don or another all motor builder that knows there shit your not going to come into the honda game and build yourself a 250hp b series by yourserlf so you better make some good all motor friends that you can ask a tone of questions or your going to get your feelings hurt fast. The kinda of knowledge you need for these motors is not something you can be told its something you just have to learn .
Not trying to pick on gregg because hopefully he has hie buggs worked out this time . He bought the best parts and did a tone of research hell his car set for four years and he knows anybody he needs to know to figure out what makes power but yet he fail 30hp short of his own goal of 300hp .Once again yes its just that hard .
I have lose 20hp from swapping timing belts and lost 20hp from movind one cam gear one degrees .You have to know your shit.
It takes cubic inches to make all motor hp period. Yes you can use rpms to compensate but how long does a motor reving to 10,000 last ? Bobby ,mosely if yaw revee your cars that high and they stay together im happy for you but dont post a smart comment because the people need to know the reality of the all motor world . Odds are it want last and there again it takes a tone of knowledge just to get it to crank up with out self detonating.
Mike has stated several times he never thought the motor in my dads car would make what it makes but i proved him wrong so please you b series guys with these 250hp motors do the same thing ( Although i agree with mike maybe two 250hp b series motors in georgia).
If anybody that thinks there smarter then the average bear on here that has never built a all motor setup and want to prove just how easy it is let me know. I will tell you the ends and outs give you everybit of info i can and tell you what parts to buy and still after the build you will be calling me wondering were that 30hp went that you should have .
250hp also dont mean shit . Screw my build look at nemos . 11.5 compression (thats not shit) . Basic bolt in shit hell his motor was a seasy to assemble as a turbo build and he hit 251hp with our ported head . Does that mean it realy is that easy nope because that 251hp number didnt mean shit when i made over 20hp across the power band then he did . Hell threw a set of por 3s in his car turn the piss out of it and make 260hp. Put a 5.0 final drive in the trany and made 270hp but it will never run the times of a 250,260,270hp motor .
Disco motor is the real deal and it supposedly makes more power now then it used to but he still has to turn it between 9,000-10,000 rpms . If it ate cams up before, that wasnt as aggresive as the ones in his motor. How long you think these will last. Im by no means hating on his build (its bad ass) just trying to get you to understand that all your home boys rideing around with ls vtecs arnt making 220hp more less 250hp and they dont have 11 second cars .They have 13 second cars.
You can have a mildly built h or k motor that makes 250hp and be dependable or you can basicaly build a all out b series drag motor to it up to you.
I understand everybody loves there motors and defends them . I dont understand why you want to get on the computer and try to make these kids that dont know about all motor builds beleive that there are all these 250hp b series riding around because its so easy to do.
Mike might can remember were i was reading this years ago because i cant . I just remember a guy decided to make as much all motor hp that he could and i want to think he used a 10,000 or 20,000 dollar budget .Im not sure but basicaly he had a endless budget to make as much power possable . All i remember is it wasnt no were near what you think it would be (like 270hp i think maybe nott that) and this guy had the best shit made maybe even a plate welded to the block there again i cant remeber . He also had the best of the best builders taking part in this and it wasnt far from 250hp but we have a bunch of back yard built or shop built (that normaly builds turbo motors) 250hp b series motors running bull shit man it just isnt happeneing .
Tell me there are 20 330hp k series riding around in georgia id say very possible. tell me there are 20 330hp h series riding around id say bull shit nobody builds high hp h builds but me and a hand full of peole out west. A 250hp b series isnt a normal build that everybody does period.
