well i meant it was your "racing car" like you guys street race in it. so if you didnt want to post its dyno numbers or have someone see what it makes i would understand.

Mike I have to bust your balls on this one... I think these claims are nuts. ever heard of John Kauffman? I bet he had the highest hp NA honda 4 cylinder in GA for 10-15 years.
And Ks here make power from what I've seen. but I have only seen K cars on dynos that I know have pretty good setups (no issues). Evan's car needs a tune badly and it still made 218 @ mainstream. so I'm pretty certain that any k20a2 without issues and the right bolt ons and tune will make 220+ at mainstream.
More cars have dyno'ed at Dynolab than any other dyno in GA, that is for certain. Arthur (the owner) hasn't changed his setup on it since 1999. If you want consistency, that is the place for it.
Well I'm going to jack my dick while drive my slow ass honda!!
Later!!
John Kauffman? Lol the biggest rip off artist there ever was? Yeah right.
Chunky had plenty ipsk2 ssr header rbc intake kproed rsxs that never cracked 215-220. Yet everyone on k20a claims 230-240+
Evans made good power but the swapped k cars seem to make 5-10whp more anyway .
I can name 10 cars that never made that kind of power here. So I dunno.
Mainstream has the highest whp
H22- several 230-250whp
B series-237whp multiple 220+
k series -Gregg and many others (mose etc)
Mspi dynoed the most hondas that's fact
Nobody wants any of Maurice's 91 prelude with the h22!! making 250 for years!! sleeperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr style
Morris, if you're going to quote me damnit, I at least want credit in the sig.
Sorry matt I just know at least 5 people kaufmann blatantly ripped off. One guy spent $10000 and got a b20block that rod knocked on start up.
Sure Kauffman might have been shady but having seen his car (road race car) hang with 500hp tube framed GT1 cars it makes you think his claims were valid. 2.2L high compression, race gas, mikuni carbs, 300crank hp. this was all back in the mid 90s. he used to tear down and modify bike motors as a hobby and did know his shit about building old school hondas.
And matt's RSX at balanced made what seems to be the equivalent of 240whp at mainstream. cams I/H/E and kpro. I have another friend completely unkown to most who made 224whp SAE with a stock K20a w/ bolt ons.
And so Gregg's car is the K series record holder just because it is the only one to have been on mainstream's dyno? lmao.
This is giving me an idea for a thread to go in the 1/4 mile section.....
Maybe I'm not making myself clear or I'm not asserting myself.
Kaufmann I only know from KMS. Which never turned out anything but lies and blown motors
I don't know about his road racing.
Mainstream has dynoed MOST of the high whp cars around. I dont know who makes the "most" but I can say that mainstream is prob the best measuring stick because the most card hVe dynoed there.
IMO
Don't really care if anyone agrees or not.
Balanced may be the only other shop with a good mix of NA Honda cars.
Kaufmann never built any motor I ever saw that made over 176whp, and I never saw any of his motors last longer than 3 months
I can name names and cars
John reminds me of Larry from endyn
Now we are arguing over semantics.
Stretch knows how to get in touch with me when they are ready
For the record I actually LIKE stretch and Morris. Well I don't think I've met Morris, but stretch is a cool guy. I actually talked to him on the phone today.
I would actually LOVE to see Midnight succeed and continue to churn out nice cars that forces everyone else to keep up. It's boring when no one pushes the envelope. it's always good to see new competition as well.
So regardless of what happens on the Internet, I dont HATE or SERIOUSLY dislike anyone.
I love NA hondas, whether they make 250 or 200. A well built car is a well built car, period.
Something similar to this thread.... http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/...P-REGISTRY**** But this one is outdated. We need something more current, and im thinking about breaking it down into k,b,h,d, etc... make a category for all motor and turbo, etc.. Will have to have dyno graph proof or graph in video...Maybe have a top 10 in each category. Just something ive been tinkering with.
Good idea. It's what I attempted to do.
I'd say just post shop and engine, mods, honor system is fine.
Be good to see who makes what and where.
Yea, heres what im thinking, when you post your numbers...
Example: DarKStaR-2xxwhp/1xxwtq Z series mainstream......and then post graph/video/proof on numbers, maybe even a vouch.
I wouldnt get into mods besides the usuall bolt ons/cam/IM, i know some people want to keep some stuff a secret
haha me being but hurt? i just posted my 2cents in here and u took it personal. I forgot who u were until someone sent me a txt and i laughed harder. I never take anything seriously and am still getting a kick outta u wanting to run me cuz i said some random dude who's the "boss" of nyc failed miserably at an page of argument wit mike, who just talks shit cuz no1 ever takes him up on his offers.
and my car is slow too but i HAD fun driving it and making ppl go wtf, was that an accord?? :/
butt anyways i dont really wanna post in here anymore. too many pages happened in one day. pm me if u really take ia seriously, ill prob check back in a few weeks or so.
With Photoshop and screen shot edits, that alone can make any number a doubt... LOL
No matter what I ever post some jackass will call bullshit!!! So it's pointless to ever post the shit.. I learned that a long time ago!!
I will never post a build sheet or a dyno sheet on IA for that reason... Fuck all these sorry ass people who can't handle the truth!!
lol
LATER!!
^^^lol the truth hurts some people can't handle it...haters gonna hate
not starting anything but........
if theres no reason to lie, then no one will call bullshit.
Just some advice, if you go around telling people you make XXXwhp then you should be able to back it up. If you dont want to, or dont care what people think, or whatever your reason is, then you shouldnt quote a number in the first place. Make sense?
Like if i went around claiming my D series makes 250 NA, i would fully expect people to say "wtf, really?" i better
1) Run 11s
2) Have a dyno sheet
Anything less than that OF COURSE people are going to question you. Thats just common sense, and you would be the same way.
:)
Hell has froze over.lol
i agree... vtecc kidd probably passed out from seeing this thats why he aint post nothing else yet. some go to check on mike and make sure he ok...lmaoooooooo
Lol
