You will have incentives, you just will earn them differently. You won't have to work a 9-5 to put food on the table, you will still have to do "chores" as what they call it. Basically, there will be no money involved, most things will be electronic and robotic controlled, and we will just be doing things that they cannot complete. Research will be a huge priority in that world, and theoretically, technology would be taken to a whole new light if the Venus project was to ever go through. The sad thing is, in a Venus project type of world, I could still see greedy Lobbyists or Politicians doing something corrupt, but instead of money, it will just be some other form of bribery or incentive. We might be able to do away with the monetary system, but the curiosity and greed of the human will never go away.
