yeah I would like to hit 13.3 if I can get my 60ft' that low. Your car has a lot more "go" mods than mine.Originally Posted by OnURleft

Not really stock motor with cams. They are shricks so they are really mild. I did the cams to shift the power band and torque band higher strictly for corner exits. If you look what Mike did to my power band on my dyno sheet you can see it is heaven for a track day. In all honesty it's not much faster than it was. I believe I gained 2mph and .25 seconds off my almost stock passes but a minimum of a second on Road A. Your 3.15 rear ass helps your MPH too. You and me both have room to hit low 13's with a good 60ft. My car does have an extra weight of the 4 point too and all the interior. We'll see what it does when I throw this S54 in it...if I do.Originally Posted by swollix

Well this is my first time drag racing ever, so I was satisfied with a 13.7. Really all my car has is intake, exhaust, off the shelf TRM chip, and a killer diet plan. I weighed in at 2,775 at the scale. You have any tips for launching? I ran a 15.2 at 99.97 MPH on my second pass spinning into 3rd gear, but I gained 24.4 MPH from the 1/8th to the 1/4.Originally Posted by OnURleft

I know it's damn good. I figured your car was a high 13's@101 but i'm not going lie that chip must be doing something..Originally Posted by swollix
From my experience M3's with a lot of weight taken out of them have a hard time hooking. JWorms had that problem and so did that fishforlife kinda ricey kid who couldn't get a 60ft without full slicks.. Part of it has to do with springs rates + no weight over the back. Obviously it plays a roll in hop and is terrible if their real stiff (how they should be) but even with my 535 rears my worst 60' of the day was 2.2x. I'd recommend you just feather it out...traction is a big problem on 235 street tires, if it's hot out you won't run for shi.t no matter what. The track just won't have the grip for you.. On a cool night feather it out and keep on the clutch but don't release it and let it spin until around 20mph then release like you are not initiating a "slight" spin until you are already on your way..it'll either bounce a little, spin slightly or you'll notice your RPM's jump then suddenly shoot up fast and you'll hook as good as the track will let you with a 1.9 or 2.0x 60ft. The smoother you are the faster you will go, like all racing. If you smell your clutch burn your probably doing it right..but stock ones can hook without a bad smell. That's what I decided worked best in my car.
If you can get a 1.9x you should start to see low 13's. I'd post those times on BF.c and praise that chip or something. That car is FAST and is very very stock.

My rear springs are 520 lbs. If you watch my first run, no bounce when shifting. You can also see NO launch whatsover:Originally Posted by OnURleft

I posted on BFC, and the majority don't seem to realize how fast the car is for what's done, and the times it is capable of. Only Jworms and Fishforlife really know what's up.![]()
Yeah you have easy 104 traps on a stock motor with a chip/exhaust. That's a good chip.Originally Posted by swollix
